Have Your Say on the Green Gap
660 homes have been approved on our Green Gap east of Middlewich Road. It went through on a casting vote. Labour councillors from the neighbouring ward moved and seconded the approval despite residents and the ward councillor fighting against it.
Roger and David are fighting back. But they need to know what residents think. Please take two minutes to complete the survey — your views go directly to Roger and David.

🌿 Why This Survey Matters
The outline planning permission has been granted but the fight is not over. Reserved matters applications still need to be approved and the amount and quality of green space, layout and infrastructure will all be determined at that stage.
The more residents who respond to this survey the stronger Roger and David’s case when they challenge future applications and push Cheshire East Council for a proper Local Plan that gives the Green Gap the protection it deserves.
What Happens to Your Response?
Your survey responses go directly to Roger and David and help them understand what matters most to residents across Wistaston and Willaston. They will use the results to challenge planning decisions, hold Cheshire East Council to account and campaign for better protection for our Green Gap ahead of the 2027 elections.
If you leave your contact details Roger and David will keep you updated on developments with this planning application and any future threats to the Green Gap.
